Our SUMMER hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Mardi Gras and Labor Day.

Meet Our Staff

Alma Anderson – Serving since 1998 is our Lead Floral Designer.She is an amazing artist and creates the most fabulous designs ever seen. She combines color and texture like nobody else and some of our most loyal customers ask for her by name. Call Miss Alma and ask her to design something special for you.Darla Mang - Serving since 2022. Our newest team member learning everything we do. She is warm, polite and a good learner.Randall Stein - Serving since 2022. Randy is our delivery expert. Delivering our floral arrangements with a smile.
Heather Faircloth – Serving since 2015 is known as Goose by her closest friends. She is our part time designer who fills in for anyone and everyone. She is a wonderful talent and a cheerful personality around the shop. She shares her time with us between raising her young children, Joe, her home and her many chickens.
Janel Fielding – Serving since 1998 is an Owner & CFO. She ties all the pieces together into a fabric of organization and production. She has an MBA from Loyola University and currently works at Tulane University full time.
Jay Fielding – Serving since 1998 is an Owner & Business Manager. He runs the day to day operations of the florist. Jay is our special events coordinator. When Jay's not on duty with the NOFD, you'll find him at our shop supporting our talented designers and the delivery staff.
Philip Fielding – Serving since 1998 is PupPaw to our children. He is Jay's father and was one of the nicest gentlemen you will ever meet. Sadly he no longer works with us. PupPaw is now retired and very much missed around our shop. You will still see him in our photos of past holidays.
Helene Sparacello – Serving since 2004, our Swiss Army Knife, and an amazing talent. We recruited her for years and were thrilled when she joined our team. Miss Helene has now retired. We thank her for her years of service. |

We pride ourselves on designing the "freshest flowers in town". We carry a wide selection of the freshest flowers including Roses, Orchid, Tulips, Lilies, Peonies and so much more.
We custom create beautiful bouquets for any occasion -- Anniversaries, Birthdays, the celebration of a New Baby, Party Centerpieces, Church Florals, Sympathy Florals, and beautiful indoor plants -- both green and blooming. Delivery Policy
A local delivery fee of $10.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays (except funeral orders). Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
